Hello Folks!
We're very happy to report that our 2022 editions of our training courses in Basic First Aid and Injection Techniques have been very successful. While our fundraising on GlobalGiving has basically been unnecessary due to institutional funding received, we are very grateful to you, the folks who helped get us started with this important work.
In 2022 we trained over 100 people, including Shipibo Healers, Community Health Promoters, Nursing Students, and others, in Basic First Aid and Injection Techniques. This is a huge firs step and as we look forward to 2023, we plan more of these trainings, as well as advancing with a complete curriculum in Intercultural Health, based in the traditional cosmovision from the Pueblo Shipibo.
Thanks to each of you for playing your part in this lifesaving gift of knowledge.
