Thanks to the donations received so far we were able to provide our programs to 25 elementary school students attending Kensington Park Elementary School. 96% of the student population at this school is Hispanic and 86.4% receive free/reduced lunch.
Thanks to you, students were able to develop:
Economic knowledge and understanding through experiential, hands-on learning.
Positive attitudes toward work and their contributions to a diverse society.
The desire to stay in school and develop their abilities and skills.
Mentor relationships with caring adults throughout the community.
Business and education partnerships that create a bridge between the classroom and the workplace.
Awareness of local businesses, industries and career opportunities.
We are gratful for your donation and for sharing JA’s vision for tomorrow’s youth and recognize the value of our far-reaching programs.
