Financial Inclusion & Economic Security

Dear Donors,

We are so thankful for your generous support of Teach By Tech. As the New Year is in full swing so are our economic empowerment programs. We have been busy preparing the curriculum and videos for our new class Cashier Training and Money Handling for Newcomers. This class is taught in coordination with Denver Workforce Services. Upon completion of the course, participants will be matched with employers at DIA who are hiring cashiers. We are very hopeful to expand this type of service as it increases accessibility of workforce development to refugees and immigrants in our community. 

We are continuing to teach our ESL hybrid financial literacy classes throughout the commuity. Our partnership with Aurora Public Schools is growing and our classes and increasing in size each week. A new class begins next month in partnership with Hope Communities as they have recently seen several new residents move into the community. We are reviving our partnership with Project Worthmore in the Spring and are very much looking forward to working with students who are enrolled in Citizenship and ESL classes with them.  

Teach By Tech is so excited to accomplish all of our goals this year and continue providing a vital service to our refugee and immigrant community. We know we could not do this important work without the support we receive from our volunteers and donors. Thank you again for participating in our mission!
