Throughout 2026, Fundación Entrepreneur has continued advancing its mission to bring financial education closer to school communities across Chile, with a special focus on those who can multiply its impact: teachers, facilitators, and volunteer monitors.
One of the main tools supporting this work is FinanCity, a game-based learning experience that helps students explore key financial concepts such as saving, budgeting, responsible money management, and financial decision-making through situations connected to everyday life.
During the first months of this year, we have carried out new training activities for teachers and facilitators, outreach initiatives with school communities, and the development of resources designed to support the implementation of financial education experiences. Through partnerships with different organizations, we have continued expanding access to this methodology while preparing more people to replicate these learning experiences with their own students.
One of our most important lessons, however, is that a single learning experience is not enough.
Evidence generated during 2025 through an experimental evaluation involving 16 schools and 29 teachers showed significant improvements in students' financial knowledge and attitudes. It also showed that repeated exposure to the experience strengthens learning outcomes.
This finding is helping shape our work in 2026. Our goal is to move beyond one-time activities and create a process in which teachers have access to the tools, materials, and support they need to integrate financial education more consistently into their work with students.
For this reason, during 2026 we have also strengthened the resources available to educators, combining in-person training, complementary learning content, implementation guidelines, and ongoing support for those using FinanCity with their communities.
Our next challenge is to continue expanding this network while also strengthening the way we measure the learning generated through these experiences. During the coming months, we will continue training teachers and facilitators, implementing new learning activities with students, and gathering evidence that will allow us to continuously improve our methodology.
We are deeply grateful to everyone supporting this project through GlobalGiving. Your contribution helps place practical financial education tools in the hands of those who can multiply their impact: educators.
Every teacher trained has the potential to open new conversations about saving, planning, responsible financial decisions, and financial well-being with dozens of students and their families.
We will continue working to make financial education an experience that is practical, accessible, engaging, and, above all, meaningful.
