Help hungry families afford the food they need

Every day at the Coalition Against Hunger, we’re reminded of how easy it is for anyone to fall through the cracks, especially in these tough times.

Over the past year alone, we’ve helped nearly 7,000 families struggling to put food on the table:

We've helped mothers like Joan, 46: 
“Before my husband got sick, we had the American dream. We had a nice house, a nice car. I had no idea what a food pantry was. Now it's a daily struggle to feed my family."

We've helped workers who’ve recently lost their jobs, like Bill, 32:
“I have a graduate degree. When I was laid off, I was sure I’d have no problem getting another job. But when my unemployment ran out, I didn't know where to turn for help.”  

We've helped retired seniors like Francis, 77:
“I had to pay a lot of bills—a big mortgage, homeowner’s insurance, gas and electric. What was left over, there wasn’t enough to buy food with.”  

People like Joan, Bill and Francis remind us that hunger can happen to anyone.

But we also know—without a doubt—that no one should ever have to worry where their next meal is coming from.

Thanks to your support, the Coalition can continue to help struggling families put food on the table in the year ahead, so they can afford the food they need as they get back on their feet.

Every day, we connect people with food assistance and work to protect the nutrition programs that prevent millions of Americans from going hungry every year. We couldn't do any of this without supporters like you.
