We are always here to offer End of Life Care (EOL) to the last days and hours of cancer patients' life (and their families) with non-medical interventions to giving due repsect to the patient's wishes and values.
Cancer patients and their families would often feel lost when the cancer journey reaches the advanced stage. We provide them with professional advices and counselling services to ensure they are able to cope with challenges in the advanced stage as well as the bereavement stage.
A number of support programmes have also been arranged to prepare them to deal with a wide range of issues aroused in the advanced stage. The programmes have covered topics on caring tips for advanced stage cancer patients, symptoms management in palliative care, preparation for advanced care plan, dealing with losses, arrangement on Will and property management. A free family photo taking session has been offered to the families to allow them to enjoy a family time in a relax atmosphere and capture the precious moment. It is well received by many patients over the years.
In the past 6 months, we have accompanied about 200 patients and their caregivers to sail through the difficult times. We look forward to continue to count on your generous support to provide comfort and care to more patients in need in the coming year.
