Project Overview:
The "Feeding Hearts, Fasting Orphan Souls" initiative, spearheaded by the Humanity and Community Development Foundation (HUCOMDEF), was a humanitarian campaign during Ramadan 2025 aimed at providing nutritious meals to orphans and vulnerable children across Nigeria. The project sought to alleviate hunger, foster a sense of belonging, and ensure that these children experienced the blessings and communal spirit of Ramadan.
Project Impact Update:
The project successfully provided daily meals to 2,000 orphans and vulnerable individuals throughout the 2025 Ramadan. Beyond addressing immediate nutritional needs, the initiative promoted emotional well-being by creating a sense of inclusion and community support. The engagement of volunteers and donors also heightened public awareness about the challenges faced by orphans, encouraging sustained support and advocacy.
