We have been working with GlobalGiving since December 2021 to improve the lives of our children at Mama Kevina Hope Centre through giving them a balanced diet. Due to the lack of rains and the lack of support because of Covid-19 we are still struggling to get enough food, Therefore, we decided to start this project on GlobalGiving. Our main challenge: get food and provide a balanced diet to our children.
Thanks to this campaign we have collected $9.985.62 that helped our children a lot. With this amount we have been able to cover the expenses of almost seven months of feeding our children (Expenses for one month: 1.424$). With this amount we can feed 19 of our 37 resident children for a year
We have bought:
53 sacs of corn: 1,685.40$
30 sacs of beans: 2,040$
12 jug of oil: 360$
8 sacs of sugar: 544$
9 sacs of flour for porridge: 612$
350 kilos of fish: 383,73$
150 kilos of meat: 406,77$
60 chickens: 407,50$
20 sacs of rice: 910$
19 sacs of flour for cooking (Ugali, bread...): 304$
200 kilos of vegetables: 1,136$
600 kilos of fruits: 679,20$
18 kilos of salt: 12,60$
30 kilos of soluble cocoa: 37,5$

Once again we want to give thanks to everyone who have helped us!
