Since 3 months ago we have been working with GlobalGiving in order to improve the life of our children at Mama Kevina Hope Centre. Due to the lack of rains and the lack of support because of Covid-19 we are struggling to get enough food for giving our children a balance diet. Therefore, we decided to start this project on GlobalGiving. Our main challenge: get food and provide a balance diet to our children.
Thanks to this campaign we have collected 2.100$ that helped our children a lot. With this amount we have been able to cover the expenses almost of two months of feeding our children (Expenses for one month: 1.424$). We have bought:
10 sacs of corn: 318$
4 sacs of beans: 272$
2 jug of oil: 60$
2 sac of sugar: 136$
2 sac of flour for porridge: 136$
166 kilos of fish: 182$
59 kilos of meat: 160$
24 chickens: 163$
2 sacs of rice: 91$
4 sac of flour for cooking (Ugali, bread...): 64$
25 kilos of vegetables: 142$
250 kilos of fruits: 283$
2 kilos of salt: 1,40$
8 kilos of soluble cocoa: 10$
10 trays of 24 eggs: 135$
TOTAL: 2,153,40$
