In a holding pattern...

New garden greens
New garden greens

It's been 7 long months since I saw the orphans at the SAW (Social Action for Women) orphanage on the Thai/Myanmar border in Mae Sot and returned to Nova Scotia, Canada.

The orphans are well, tending their garden, and going to school.  Thailand has been cited by the World Health Organization for its management of the Covid19 virus. So Mae Sot is looking pretty normal these days.

However, as our worlds have shrunk because of the pandemic and its immediate concerns, donations to this project have also diminished.  Ko Myo and SAW founder and director Aye Aye Mar are working hard to make sure that the children have a healthy food for their bodies and their brains!

While Thailand borders are still essentially closed, I remain in Canada.  But as soon as they re-open, I will return to Mae Sot.

There will be light at the end of this tunnel!  In the meantime, thank you for your continued interest and support.
