The effects of prolonged drought and crop failure are placing vulnerable families in Karamoja under enormous pressure.
Poverty makes it especially difficult for households to recover, while inadequate food can threaten the health and wellbeing of children and pregnant mothers.
This project will deliver emergency food assistance to families experiencing severe hunger and provide essential nutrition support to children and pregnant mothers.
We will also promote climate-smart farming assistance to help households restore livelihoods and strengthen their capacity to withstand future droughts.
