Karamoja’s agricultural communities are facing enormous challenges as prolonged drought and crop failure continue to undermine household food supplies and livelihoods.
Families already affected by poverty have few resources to recover without support.
This project will provide emergency food assistance to vulnerable households and nutritional support for children and pregnant mothers.
We will complement this response with climate-smart farming assistance to help families improve agricultural production and strengthen their capacity to withstand future droughts.
