Prolonged drought and repeated crop failures are pushing vulnerable families in Karamoja deeper into hunger and poverty. Many households have exhausted their food reserves and have limited means to recover, placing children and pregnant mothers at increased nutritional risk.
This project will provide emergency food assistance to families facing severe hunger while delivering nutrition support to children and pregnant mothers. We will also provide climate-smart farming assistance to help vulnerable households improve food production and become more resilient to future droughts.
