Karamoja is experiencing a severe food-security challenge driven by prolonged drought, crop failure, poverty, and fragile livelihoods. Thousands of families are struggling to secure enough food, while vulnerable children and pregnant mothers face increased nutritional risks.
The Girl Child Foundation Uganda seeks to respond with a combination of emergency relief and long-term resilience support. Immediate assistance will help families access food during the crisis, while targeted nutrition support will prioritize children and pregnant mothers. Climate-smart farming assistance will help vulnerable households improve their ability to produce food and cope with future droughts.
Your contribution can help bridge the gap between emergency survival and long-term recovery.
By supporting this project, you can help families move from hunger and uncertainty toward greater food security, resilience, and hope.
