We want to appreciate you so much for your generous donation to support this project. Thank you so much and may you continually be blessed in all your endeavors.
We would have executed this project and send it's report by now, but because of the change in the monetary policy of the country, we have not been able to do so. The Presidential, National Assembly, Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections in Nigeria is around the corner and the Nigerian government is doing everything possible to prevent vote buying in order to make sure that the election is free and fair.
Consequently, new naira notes of 200, 500 and 1,000 were redesigned and a deadline given for the old notes to be returned. Daily withdrawal limit for the new notes are kept at 20,000 naira (about $40) and to even make a withdrawal is very difficult, as the banks are so much crowded.
We will execute this project and send another report, once we're able to make a withdrawal.
