Hey friend!
First off, we want to thank you again for your donation. Due to generous donors like you, we have been able to provide several girls with a chance at a new life! These young ladies have been through such overwhelming circumstances so far in their lives that we are unbelievably grateful to give them the opportunity for a fresh start. Over the last year, tremendous progress has been made in securing the safety and well-being of these young ladies and their children. As we work toward our next year of serving girls like Gladys, we know we are changing not only their futures but the futures of many more girls to come.
Featured in this update is Gladys. Gladys bravely left her village with her daughter when the opportunity arose. She has been working hard to improve her life and the life of her little girl. She has been completely willing to learn new things, including improving her skills as a parent and being a big sister to the other girls who are living in the rescue center with her.
We are thrilled to announce that she and three other girls will be adopted by a fellow Kenyan family who plan to support them throughout their entire high school years. And she and the others will never have to worry about returning to a life of poverty and oppression.
We can't wait to see where life takes her and the other girls.
And since four girls are leaving the rescue center soon, we have an opportunity to bring another four girls out from the bondage of child bride marriage!
This is why your donation matters! So thanks again for helping us to continue this important work of giving these young ladies and their children the best chance at life. They so deserve it!
Blessings to you and yours! The SSFI Team
