Feed & Educate 100 Children in Sri Lanka

Summary:
During this reporting period, HELPING CHILDREN INC continued efforts to promote and prepare for the implementation of this project. While we have not yet received donations, we remain committed to ensuring that once funding is secured, the project will be implemented efficiently and transparently to support vulnerable children in Sri Lanka.

Current Status:
At present, the project has not received any donations. However, we have taken several important preparatory steps, including:

• Finalizing the project plan and beneficiary selection criteria
• Coordinating with local partners in Sri Lanka
• Identifying 100 vulnerable children who will benefit from nutrition and education support
• Preparing procurement plans for food supplies, school materials, and program activities

Challenges:
The primary challenge at this stage is the lack of initial funding, which has delayed direct program implementation. As a new project, it requires increased visibility and donor engagement to reach potential supporters.

Actions Taken:
To address this, HELPING CHILDREN INC is actively working to:

• Promote the project through social media and outreach campaigns
• Engage potential donors and partners
• Participate in fundraising opportunities such as GlobalGiving campaigns
• Strengthen communication and storytelling to highlight the urgency and impact of the project

Next Steps:
Once funding is received, we will immediately begin:

• Distribution of nutritious food support to children
• Provision of school supplies and educational materials
• Implementation of tutoring and learning support activities
• Monitoring and reporting on child health, attendance, and progress

Conclusion:
Although we have not yet received donations, we remain optimistic and fully prepared to launch the project. The need remains urgent, and we are committed to ensuring that every contribution will directly support children facing hunger, poverty, and barriers to education in Sri Lanka.
