Street Children Face Hunger and Lack of Basic Care

By Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

We sincerely thank you for your support toward the Feed and Clothe Homeless Almajiri Street Children project. Your contribution shows care for children who struggle daily for survival. However, the donations received so far are still not enough to begin the planned support activities.

Across many cities in Northern Nigeria, Almajiri and homeless street children continue to face hunger, poor hygiene, and lack of shelter. Many depend on begging just to eat and are exposed to illness, abuse, and unsafe conditions.

Without support, these children remain vulnerable, with no access to regular meals, clean clothing, or safe places to rest. Their daily struggle affects their health, dignity, and future.

This project is designed to support 1,000 children with regular meals, clean clothing, and basic hygiene items. Safe spaces will also be created in partnership with local community groups, allowing children to eat, rest, and receive care in a more secure environment.

With the right support, these children can experience improved health, reduced hunger, and a sense of dignity and care.

We are grateful for the support already received and remain hopeful that additional contributions will make it possible to begin this program and reach children who need help the most.

Thank you for your kindness and continued support.

Sincerely,

Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
Project Leader
