This Eid ul Adha, OBHIZATRIK Foundation will deliver fresh Qurbani meat to 300 of Bangladesh's most vulnerable families - people who have not tasted meat in months. For $50, you can place a full meal on a family's table on the most blessed day of the year. Your Qurbani, their celebration.
In Bangladesh, many vulnerable families cannot afford meat even during Eid ul Adha. Extreme poverty, unemployment, and recurring natural disasters leave thousands of households struggling to meet basic food needs. Female-headed families, orphaned children, garment workers, and flood-affected communities often spend Eid without any nutritious meal or celebration, making the occasion emotionally and financially difficult for them.
OBHIZATRIK Foundation will distribute fresh Qurbani meat packages to 300 vulnerable families across Dhaka, Patuakhali, and Khulna during Eid ul Adha. The project will ensure halal sacrifice, hygienic processing, and timely delivery through trained field teams. Each family will receive fresh meat, a hygiene pack, and an Eid greeting to ensure both nutritional support and dignity during the celebration.
The project will support approximately 1,200-1,500 individuals from extremely poor, flood-affected, female-headed, and orphan-headed households. Families will receive nutritious food during Eid, helping them celebrate with dignity and joy. The initiative will also strengthen community solidarity, improve food security during the festival period, and provide donors with transparent documentation and impact reporting.
