Don Bosco veedu society is one of the leading institution in rescuing the street children and providing them with shelter until they are secured to their respective families or transferred to other safe settings. The institution work in a specific structure with vibrant teams for identifying the children who are at risks and rescue them from peril. We receive such children every day and ensure they are given enough nutrition and shelter they require.
This year during lockdown we were able to ensure that there are no children on streets roaming without any food or shelter. Even before the pandemic lockdown started in India we have conducted a quick patrolling in search of children at risk in the streets and has identified 30. We have provided them with shelter and nutrition during the three months lockdown period thus securing them from the vulnerability of being exposed to the risk of pandemic as well as other anti-social activities. They are being accomodated in our facility for providing daily nutrition.
The local donors as well as the donation we recieve from GlobalGiving has helped us in this mission for providing them with sufficient nutritions.
