Nutrition 2025 – Chispuditos
In Guatemala, 49.8% of children suffer from chronic malnutrition, that’s 1 in every 2 children.
Why is Guatemala experiencing such high rates of malnutrition?
Low family incomes, lack of resources, low agricultural productivity, rising unemployment, and increasing food prices have all contributed to worsening this crisis.
At Let’s Be Ready / Magical Classroom Guatemala, we recognize this urgent issue and see the need to support our children's nutrition.
This year, in 2025, our program serves over 500 preschool-age children. Each child receives a daily cup of Chispuditos, a fortified drink containing 21 essential vitamins and minerals. This nutritional support strengthens their immune systems and helps prevent various illnesses.
We are committed to ensuring the well-being and proper nutrition of our children.
