FEDUJAZZ TankeLab Percussion Workshops
FEDUJAZZ resumes hosting a weekly percussion family workshop on Cabarete beach. Using recycled plastic shipping container tanks, students are welcome to participate with their families. Held every Monday at 6:00 pm, come as a family and join the workshop. Cost: donations in favor of FEDUJAZZ from US $ 1.00 and up. The workshops are led by famed percussionist David Almengod.
Classes Begin in August 2018
We are happy to begin the start of classes again at FEDUJAZZ. Our schedule is as follows:
4 -5:00 PM. Professor Ronaldo, GUITAR 1
4- 4:30 PM Professor Sheldon, DRUMS
4: 30-5 PM. Professor Sheldon, DRUMS
5-5: 50 PM. Professor Ronaldo, TRAINING
5: 15-6 PM. Professor Sheldon (Young children Saturdays)
3:30 to 5:30 Percussion ensemble with Prof David Almengod.
6:00: PM Ensemble Percussion Families with Prof David Almengod.

FEDUJAZZ President Maria Elena Grateraux Awarded
Banco BHD recognized María Elena Gratereaux as one of the "10 Women who Change the World." The Sala Máximo Avilés Blonda of the Palace of Fine Arts of Santo Domingo was the setting chosen by executives of Banco BHD León to celebrate the fourth edition of "Mujeres que Cambian el Mundo", a project created by the financial institution with the aim of highlighting the trajectory and life of women creators of initiatives that have positively transformed Dominican society. Maria Elena Gratereaux received the award for her years of work and dedication on behalf of FEDUJAZZ, and supporting the rights of women and children.
Executive Director appointed for FEDUJAZZ
Thanks to our beloved Fulgencio Ochoa «Yeyo» Honorary President of FEDUJAZZ for his unconditional support. He is pictured below with our newly appointed Executive Director, Verónica Requena, and dear Dario Nicodemo while delivering donated materials for our foundation from Ferreteria Ochoa.
