The "Embrace The Bond – Global Hugs for Boys" campaign directly tackles a critical but widely overlooked social issue: teenage boys being among the most unhugged and emotionally touch-deprived populations worldwide. As boys grow into adolescence, societal expectations surrounding toughness often lead to a sharp decline in physical warmth and affection from father figures.
Through the Father and Son Together [FAST] Festival platform, this initiative encourages fathers, step-fathers, and male mentors to embrace their pivotal role in nurturing young boys. By normalizing intentional physical bonding and emotional affection, the project builds emotional resilience, reduces psychological distress, and heals father-son dynamics.
2. Quarterly Highlights & AchievementsA. Continued Execution of #HugYourSonFridayKey Message: "A Hug is a Lifelong Gift." Research shows that boys raised by affectionate fathers handle stress with greater resilience and are significantly less prone to anxiety and depression.
Consistent Action Call: Sustained the weekly #HugYourSonFriday digital and community movement across our networks.
The 20-Second Standard: Prompted fathers, step-fathers, and father-figures to pledge and give a 20-second embrace to the boys in their care every Friday. This specific duration is designed to trigger oxytocin release, lower stress markers, and reinforce relational trust.
Inclusive Reach: Actively engaged biological fathers, step-fathers, foster parents, and male guardians to ensure no boy in their care is left touch-deprived.
This quarter, we initiated the global promotional rollout for the annual FAST Festival 2026, featuring a flagship virtual event:
Event Theme: Breaking Cycles of Emotional Neglect in Boys
Key Feature: Unveiling "The 6-Step Father-Son Hug Guide"
Date & Time: Saturday, August 1, 2026 | 4:00 PM WAT / 11:00 AM EST
Format: Free Virtual Event via Zoom with global registration and digital pledge sign-ups.

Host the Global Virtual Gathering: Convening international participants on August 1, 2026, for the live FAST Festival workshop on breaking emotional neglect.
Guide Distribution: Broadly distributing The 6-Step Father-Son Hug Guide to all event registrants and partner networks.
School & Community Outreaches: Integrating physical bonding pledges into local youth networks and school-based Peace Pledge Cells.
