The Farm Support Program for 500 Farmers in Kano is currently in the early fundraising stage. The project has a total funding target of $16,853, with $1 raised to date, leaving $16,852 still required to fully implement the planned activities. The project has received support from 2 donors, but there are currently no monthly donors.
While funding remains significantly below the required target, Elite Star Foundation continues to promote the project and mobilize support from potential donors and partners. Once sufficient funds are secured, the project will provide smallholder farmers with improved seeds, farming tools, fertilizer and soil nutrients, practical training, mentorship, and assistance connecting farmers with markets. The financial priority at this stage is to close the remaining funding gap so implementation can begin and support can reach the targeted 500 farmers. Current donation options range from $10 to $1,000, allowing individuals and larger donors to contribute toward specific aspects of farmer support.
