Hello wonderful donors!
Summer is here! Here at Fair Haven, we have seen an influx of clients that need childcare to receive services. It has been a priority to find solutions so that all survivors are able to receive the care they need. We have embarked on the journey of starting a Family Services Department to help with this dire need. The new Family Services Department specializes in attending to childcare needs along with all the other responsibilities involving client care. The childcare we provide involves art projects, coloring, reading to the children, games, and much more. We hope to navigate ways to improve this service we provide.
Fair Haven has also implemented a support group called “Art Expression” that is primarily for our young adult survivors. This support group helps clients heal through art and music. In this group we have discussed breaking down barriers, empowerment, and identifying strengths. Fair Haven hopes to explore more creative ways to guide clients in healing from trauma.
Fair Haven is always looking for ways to improve services for our survivors. We appreciate each of you for supporting our mission. Thank you so much from the team and all the survivors. We will have more updates coming soon.
