We at Fabulous African Fabrics are very proud of the high marks our boys and girls make in academics. They also excell in the arts and athletics. Laura Salazar, founder of FAF, discovered the children of the Good Samaritan Children's Home at an international children's theatre conference in Kenya where they were performing a play. Singing together is a joyous part of the children's lives. Through the years we have been the recipient of many children's drawings which we have turned into cards and shown at art exibits in the States.
I am sharing some recent drawings we received. These are availible as cards which you may order by contacting Laura at salazarfaf@hotmail.com.
The GSC Home is now active on line with their website and on Facebook. We invite you to friend them on Facebook so you can get better acquainted with this superior orphanage doing excellent work in one of Kenya's notorious slums.
