Everyone is busy working at the Good Samaritan Children's Home. There is school, homework, sports, drama and play, but the staff insists on all of the children work to make the home clean and neat and effecient. Not only do the children take care of their rooms, bathrooms, beds and storage; but they also help with the on-site farm's dairy herd and a pig sty. The older girls help with the toddlers and babies, much as happens in large families.
With all of the kids pitching in, the work gets done in a hurry. These chores help the children to bond to each other and to the home itself, creating a feeling of belonging and family.
Pictured here is a young boy who is cleaning the area between two buildings.
