We need your help to expand the Sierra del Cielo Sanctuary - located in Cordoba, Argentina . The ONG "Conciencia Solidaria", through its campaign Veganismo, escort the Sierra del Cielo Sanctuary, where more than 270 animals, victims of abuse, exploitation and a fate marked by human consumption, found another possibility of life. In the Sanctuary they received what they had never had: freedom, attention and a safe place. Today, together with you we want to expand that space to rescue more lives
The Animal Rescue Center Sierra del Cielo Sanctuary rescues and cares for animals victims of neglect, explotation and mistreatment. Today it houses more than 270 animals that depend mostly on the daily supply of food, water and care. But the available safe space has already reached its limit: it is not possible to receive more rescued animals. The areas currently in use are hilly land and stony soils, with insufficient vegetation and no capacity to support more animals.
The project proposes to prepare 10 hectares already available within the site by: 1. Installation of perimeter fencing Area to be protected: 10 hectares length: 650 linear metres Type: 9 wire with hardwood post Includes materials and labour 2. Construction of drinker trough Capacity: 1,000 litres Total project cost: 21,500 USD With this expansion, the Sanctuary will be able to receive 12 goats and sheep and 6 horses,providing them with a safe space, with water, containment and access to food.
This expansion will create a protected, sustainable space suitable for the admission of rescued animals. Expected results include: A new sector completely prepared to receive animals that today have nowhere to go. Improved welfare conditions: water, food, shade, safety and protection. Reduction of the risk of leaks, accidents or attacks. Real increase in the Sanctuary's capacity to respond to rescue emergencies. Durable infrastructure that will save lives for years to come.
