Challenge

The ongoing Russian-Ukrainian conflict has created an urgent need for reliable evacuation vehicles. Medical evacuations are often delayed, taking 2-12 hours or more, as most rely on non-medical transport. This increases mortality on the frontlines. Providing rugged and efficient evacuation vehicles ensures timely care, improves survival rates, and contributes to global health goals. The project directly benefits injured individuals and is essential for sustaining medical support in war zones.

Solution

This project will acquire, inspect, and transport 10 reliable, terrain-capable evacuation vehicles to the frontlines in Ukraine. These vehicles will drastically reduce evacuation times, ensuring wounded individuals receive timely medical care, ultimately saving lives. Volunteers with automotive expertise will select and prepare vehicles for service. This efficient approach maximizes value by repurposing used but durable vehicles, directly benefiting those in critical need.

Long-Term Impact

This project will have a profound long-term impact by strengthening the medical evacuation capabilities in Ukraine, saving up to 100 lives on the frontlines. Improved access to timely medical care will reduce mortality rates and long-term disabilities among injured individuals. With over 200 vehicles previously delivered, the initiative demonstrates scalability, ensuring sustained support for thousands of affected. Additionally, repurposing vehicles promotes sustainability.
