Dear friends of Cambodian Living Arts,
Thank you very much for supporting the very first Ethno Cambodia, taking place in Siem Reap in January 2019.
Preparations for Ethno Cambodia are currently at full speed. We will be welcoming more than 30 musicians from Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Taiwan, Japan, India, Sweden and the UK to Siem Reap, the home of the famous Angkor Wat temple complex. For one week, they will teach each other tunes from their countries, share their cultures, celebrate our common cultural heritage and create two beautiful concerts together.

We are currently preparing the logistics for these final concerts, work on promotional material, communicate arrival times and other logistics with the participants, work with the artistic leaders (who are from Cambodia, India and Sweden by the way).
Thank you so much for making this extraordinary music gathering happen. Especially in our region bordering the Mekong, opportunities for low-barrier cultural exchange are few - as far as we are aware, this is the first project of its kind in Southeast Asia. Thanks to your help, we can introduce many new people to this concept and plant a seed for many more fruitful music exchanges.
