With the recent conduct of the National University Games (UNIGAMES) in Dumaguete, the facility was utilized being the only comfort lounge adjacent to the beach volleyball courts located at the southern tip of the Rizal Boulevard.
Since its opening, the comfort lounge has been used in order to maintain the cleanliness of the place and the shoreline as well. The existence of the said facility answers of the rising problem on the foul odor of the sea due to people who use the beachside for urination and worst, defecation.
On the other hand, due to its unique and captivating design, it has grown curiosity and much appreciation from the community. Also, it has given them a new perspective that a comfort lounge can look elegant and probably not an eyesore in a tourist destination.
