Edge of Seven just visited the Salleri Dorms where we have girls residing to go to 11th and 12th grade classes (college) in Salleri. Our new dorms for girls attending University (12+) are ready for girls to arrive and begin their classes later this fall. We were very excited to see the completion of the work at the dorms that include 2 buildings with 2 rooms each. 5 girls will live in each room -- a total of 20 girls who will now be attending university to pursue their dreams of a career in Salleri or in Solukhumbu where they are all from. Each of the rooms has a private kitchen where the 5 girls take turns cooking their own meals. An on-site coordinator ensures that the girls have all that they need and that any issues they have are taken care of. Seeing it all with our own eyes and seeing the readiness of the dorms for the 20 girls is very exciting for us. We'll post pictures of the completed dorms here soon and will post pictures of the incoming class of girls when they arrive. Namaste -- PM
