Pakistan's urban expansion comes with significant challenges that threaten sustainability and the well-being of urban dwellers. Water Scarcity due to increasing demand and poor water management Food Insecurity because of limited urban agriculture and inefficient supply chains Overpopulation & Unplanned Settlements leading to strain on housing, transportation, and essential services. Solid Waste Management Issues, contributing to pollution.

Scaling such models can drive policy changes toward urban greening, sustainable agriculture, and water stewardship, creating healthier ecosystems and equitable societies globally.
