At Disability Belongs™, we are committed to developing leaders and transforming the future of the workplace. Our Leadership Program is growing fast! Thanks to supporters like you, we have seen a 73% increase in applicants to our program in the past year alone! The interest is inspiring, but our ability to meet the growing demand is limited. That’s why your help is so crucial.
Our Leadership Program addresses critical gaps in disability employment. Recent data shows that 79% of our alumni have secured employment following their fellowship with Disability Belongs™. That is more than double the national employment rate for disabled workers. Our Fellows receive expert support, training, and guidance on best practices for skill building, writing, and job seeking for fulfilling careers of their choosing.
We proudly offer paid, accessible opportunities, emphasizing a strong belief in real work for real pay. Through structured mentorship, personalized writing coaching, interactive seminars, and a presenter series led by disabled leaders, Fellows gain the tools, experience, and networks they need to grow as advocates and professionals. The results speak for themselves, but sustaining this impact takes resources. Your investment in the next generation of disabled leaders is shaping policy, business, culture, and advocacy nationwide and beyond.
Since launching the program, we have supported over 325 Fellows, and interest in our program grows exponentially each year. The demand is greater than ever, and meeting it requires us to grow with care, strategy, and support from our community. Your support of any amount helps build a future where disabled talent thrives. “I learned how to be a part of a community and workforce where you can grow and learn new things about yourself and hone your skills.” -- Shira Leeder, 2022 Fellow
Thank you for your time, your partnership, and your belief in what is possible when barriers fall!
Gratefully,
