Every year, LWOB launches a challenge in December, that encourages members of the several student divisions based in UK, to devise deliverables that can be produced and distributed in-country to support ongoing rule of law work of LWOB in developing regions.
This year's challenge launched in early December 2018, challenges students to devise creative options for programming that addressed anyone of the following problems:
In addition to the "rule of law" oriented challenges, students were encouraged to develop and submit an entry-- namely a branding "logo" for the ROLIC (Rule of Law Innovation Challenge) that illustrated the creative, outside the box, rule of law oriented themes that the Challenge inspires.
The event is scheduled for London, Spring 2019 hosted by the Dickson Poon School of Law at Kings College. Students are required to RSVP and identify the nature of their submission by 2nd week of January. Several of the student groups, at their option, will have available mentors from leading law firms in London to assist them with the development of their entries.
