Dear Friend,
We firstly hope you have had a great start to 2023! We are happy to report that our 2023 so far has been productive and we have much planned in the coming months. In the last quarter we achieved the following;
We have already started working on our 4th Sea Turtle Festival, which will bring over 300 students together to join in on the day, along with community groups, tourists and citizens. We have a jammed-packed June, July and August, running education programmes for international students from Camps International.
We are also excited to announce that the Conservation Education Society will be setting up a new education centre, which will enable us to reach even more students and teachers, we plan to bring local students to the new centre to learn about marine conservation and other important conservation topics. This space will be a great opportunity to engage our community in conservation!
Conservation education continues to be our main focus, with our main target audience being local students in and around Diani. Therefore, all funds raised through donations and our GlobalGiving campaign will be used to fund conservation education activities for students who otherwise would not be able to afford such experiences. So please do continue supporting this campaign.
Please also check out our newsletters by visiting our website (link below), to keep updated with our activities.
Thank you for your time and support, without you it would not be possible!
Yours faithfully
CES Team
