2023 has been an exciting and eventful year for The SOUP! We provided a quality education to 650 children at our Nursery and Primary School, sent our School choir to the national competition for the first time, sent 75 SOUP Primary School graduates on scholarship to secondary school, served 120 families with life-saving health and nutritional supports as well as small business training, and are advanced our national educational reform initiative focused on active learning. Last month, we hosted seven U.S. Board Members and two researchers for a 3-day visit to our campus! For many members of our Board, this was their first trip to Uganda, and it truly brought our mission to life. They are reenergized in their support of our work.
