Greeting SOUP Supporters,
We hope everyone's summer has been fun, safe, and relaxing. In Uganda, we have been working hard with our teachers and students to ensure the year is progressing smoothly. This summer, The SOUP developed a comprehensive COVID response plan with all staff working from home and a designated contact person to provide weekly COVID updates. Students are receiving homeschooling packages and food distribution will continue for SOUP school children, SEP scholars and Emma’s Baby SOUP supported households.
One of the most exciting pieces of news we received this summer was our graduating students' Primary Leaving Exam results. We are pleased to announce that our senior class emerged the 3rd out of 115 schools in the district! These results demonstrate their hard work, perseverance, and dedication throughout the past year. Thank you for joining us in celebrating our teachers and students! We are so grateful for your continued support.
All the best,
Jill
