Young Man Takes Responsibility

By Snezana | GHNI Partner

Branka is a 43-year-old woman with a 16-year-old son, Vasa. Despite his young age, Vasa got married. There were many problems in the family due to finances, but thanks to TCD lessons, Vasa took responsibility for himself and his wife by forming an orchestra. He now earns an income for both of them.

Other Updates

Last month, villagers in jorgovska mahala were busy with agricultural work, harvesting plums. Now a large number of them are absent because they went to harvest grapes. Also, a number went to work for two months in Slovakia. Even with smaller numbers, we held regular meetings and made personal visits to families in the mahala.

Though they came into meetings tired from work, they were excited to hear our Transformational Community Development (TCD) lessons. Special attention was drawn to family topics on responsibilities in marriage and the upbringing of children.
