We are extremely excited to let everyone know that we are getting one step closer to building our resource center to end FGM. Building the resource center costs money and we are still fundraising. We have been able to raise over $19,000 through Global Giving and we still need about $80,000 to start the project. We have secured a land for the project and it will be in an area with some of the most excluded girls. The resource center will be a first of it's kind in the whole of The Gambia and we can't do it without the generosity of all of you. We are very grateful for all of the contributions that we have received and we ask that you continue to spread the word.
Our team will keep you updated through out the process. We will take part in the building of the project our selves and we look forward to showing you what we have been able to accomplish together.
