Daily we saw the news paper about women and girls violence. Cases of crimes against women in the state rose to 9,207 in 2022 against 8,501 in 2021. Cases registered under (Pocso) Act, from 4,415 in 2021 to 4,906 in 2022..Crimes against women increased significantly in 2022 in past years. The main objective of this project is to provide legal aid and awareness to all including schools and women colleges. End violence against women and girls in the society.
In rural , urban and cities areas, daily women are facing many problems. The offence of domestic violence is prevalent in historical times. Women in society have continuously been tortured, threatened, and subjugated by men to retain their superiority. It is still prevalent but remains invisible due to a lack of complaints. We have witnessed a lot of movements starting against violence toward women because of their unequal status in society. Initially, there were no laws against such violence.
WFW provide Technical Assistance will be provided to the women & girl through this project, we concentrate schools and women colleges and give the moral stories and present lifestyle. They will get courage to fight against violence. WFW will conduct Awareness programs such as Road shows, posters, street play, wall painting etc. will bring awareness in the society, To organise the meetings and legal right violence against women will be eliminated
Domestic violence is an issue affecting people of all ages, races, genders, and sexual orientations. The attitude of men towards women will be changed from which this male dominated society will respect women. Child marriage, dowry, gender discrimination will be reduced. The society will openly support the her in the fight against violence, the resulting, sexual harassment will be reduce the violence against women will be decreased.
