By Sally Korkin | Executive Director, Cedar Village Foundation
Cedar Village's goal is to always enhance the lives of our elders. Patients who are part of the Cedar Village Hospice Program benefit from the care and compassion provided by the Hospice Team including staff and volunteers visiting with patients, reading to them and delivering flowers that have been donated by local florists and community members.
At a recent concert presented by the Israeli Choir that was in Cincinnati for the World Choir Games, one of our Hospice patients who is typically non-verbal, began singing a familiar song with the girls in the choir. It was an amazing sight to be seen and even more so to be heard.
