A GIRL IN SCHOOL CHANGES EVERYTHING

By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader

Dear Donors and Supporters,

Thank you for your continued investment in the lives of girls in rural Uganda. Your generosity is proving a simple but powerful truth: when a girl stays in school, everything changes.

Throughout this reporting period, girls participating in our project continued to receive mentorship, life-skills training, and educational encouragement. These activities helped them strengthen their confidence, improve decision-making skills, and remain committed to their academic goals.

Many girls shared how education is giving them hope for a better future. They are beginning to see opportunities that were once beyond their reach and are developing the confidence to pursue careers and leadership roles within their communities.

Community engagement sessions brought together parents, teachers, and local leaders to discuss the importance of keeping girls in school. These conversations encouraged families to view education as a long-term investment that can transform not only a girl's life but also the wellbeing of her family.

Teachers reported improvements in attendance, classroom participation, and academic motivation among girls involved in project activities. These encouraging signs reflect the positive impact of a supportive environment.

A girl who stays in school is more likely to build a stable future, support her family, and contribute to her community. The benefits extend far beyond the classroom and often last for generations.

Thank you for helping girls stay in school and creating change that reaches far beyond one child. Your support is transforming lives every day.
