MORE THAN EDUCATION-A PATHWAY TO FREEDOM

By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader

Dear Donors and Supporters,

Education is about much more than classrooms and textbooks. For many girls in rural Uganda, education represents freedom, independence, dignity, and hope. Your support is helping make that freedom possible.

During this reporting period, girls continued participating in mentorship activities designed to strengthen confidence, leadership, and decision-making skills. These sessions encouraged participants to recognize their value and take ownership of their futures.

Many girls shared how education has changed the way they view themselves and their opportunities. Instead of seeing limited choices ahead, they now envision careers, leadership roles, and lives filled with possibility.

Parents and community leaders participated in discussions about the importance of protecting girls from early marriage and supporting their educational journeys. These conversations are helping create stronger community commitment to girls' rights and wellbeing.

Teachers reported positive changes in attendance, classroom participation, and overall engagement among participating students. These improvements demonstrate the lasting impact of educational support combined with mentorship and advocacy.

Education provides knowledge, but it also provides freedom—the freedom to dream, choose, and build a better future. Through your generosity, girls are gaining opportunities that can transform not only their own lives but also the lives of future generations.

Thank you for helping provide more than education. Thank you for helping create pathways to freedom.Bottom of Form
