End Early Child Marriage in rural Uganda

Every girl deserves the chance to write her own story. Thanks to your unwavering support, hundreds of girls in rural Uganda are rewriting stories that once seemed destined to end in poverty, early marriage, and limited opportunities.

This reporting period, we witnessed remarkable examples of resilience and determination among girls participating in our project. Through mentorship, educational support, and community engagement, girls are gaining the confidence to dream beyond traditional expectations and pursue brighter futures.

Many participants shared aspirations of becoming nurses, teachers, lawyers, and entrepreneurs. Through life-skills training, they are learning how to set goals, overcome obstacles, and advocate for themselves. These skills are helping them make informed choices about their futures and remain focused on their education.

Parents and community leaders continue to play a critical role in this transformation. Through awareness sessions, families are increasingly recognizing the value of educating girls and delaying marriage. These conversations are helping shift long-standing attitudes and create safer environments for girls.

Teachers have reported stronger attendance, increased classroom participation, and improved confidence among supported students. Girls who once struggled to believe in their potential are now stepping forward as leaders and role models.

Every girl who remains in school is writing a new chapter filled with possibility rather than limitation. Together, we are replacing fear with hope, vulnerability with confidence, and barriers with opportunity.
