End Early Child Marriage in rural Uganda

Thank you for your continued commitment to protecting and empowering girls in rural Uganda. Your support is helping ensure that vulnerable girls remain safe, stay in school, and continue to believe in their potential.

Throughout this reporting period, our project focused on strengthening child protection awareness while promoting education and personal development. Community outreach activities engaged parents, teachers, and local leaders in discussions about preventing child marriage and safeguarding girls’ rights.

At the same time, girls participated in mentorship and life-skills training designed to build confidence, leadership, and resilience. These sessions encouraged participants to stay focused on their education and develop a positive vision for their futures.

Many girls shared how mentorship has helped them gain confidence and overcome fears that once limited their participation in school activities. Teachers reported increased classroom engagement and stronger commitment to learning among participating students.

Community leaders also continued advocating for children's rights and encouraging families to support girls’ education. Their involvement is helping create environments where girls can thrive without fear of early marriage or exploitation.

When girls feel safe, they are free to learn. When they are educated, they are empowered to succeed. When they are inspired, they become leaders who transform communities.
