End Early Child Marriage in rural Uganda

We are grateful for your continued support of our efforts to end child marriage and empower girls through education. Your generosity is helping vulnerable girls gain the confidence they need to overcome obstacles and pursue brighter futures.

Many girls in our project face significant challenges, including poverty, social pressure, and limited access to opportunities. Through mentorship, education advocacy, and community support, we are helping them develop the resilience necessary to navigate these difficulties.

This reporting period, girls participated in life-skills sessions focused on self-esteem, leadership, communication, and personal growth. Many reported feeling more confident about expressing their opinions, participating in school activities, and setting goals for the future.

Teachers observed positive changes among participating students, including improved attendance, greater classroom participation, and stronger academic engagement. These outcomes demonstrate the impact of providing consistent encouragement and support.

Parents and community members also engaged in discussions about girls’ rights and the benefits of education. As awareness grows, families are increasingly supporting girls' educational journeys and rejecting practices that place their futures at risk.

Local leaders continue to champion child protection and advocate for educational opportunities for all children.

The transformation from vulnerability to confidence does not happen overnight, but thanks to your support, we are seeing girls grow stronger every day. They are finding their voices, embracing their potential, and building futures filled with hope.
