Dear Donors and Supporters,
Because of your generosity, more girls in rural Uganda are sitting in classrooms instead of facing the prospect of early marriage. Your support is helping vulnerable girls remain in school, build confidence, and pursue dreams that once seemed out of reach.
During this reporting period, our community outreach activities continued to engage parents, teachers, and local leaders in discussions about the importance of girls’ education. These conversations are helping families understand that education offers girls a pathway to independence, leadership, and long-term economic opportunity.
Girls participating in our mentorship sessions received guidance on self-esteem, leadership, goal setting, and life planning. Many shared their aspirations of becoming teachers, nurses, entrepreneurs, and community advocates. Through regular encouragement and support, they are gaining the confidence to believe in their potential and pursue their ambitions.
Schools reported improved attendance and participation among girls benefiting from project activities. Teachers observed that many students are becoming more engaged in learning and more determined to complete their education despite challenges at home and within their communities.
Community leaders continue to advocate for children's rights and the protection of girls from harmful practices. Their involvement is helping create safer environments where girls can focus on learning and personal development.
Every classroom seat occupied by a girl represents a future protected. Every lesson learned represents another step toward opportunity and independence. Your support is helping girls choose education over early marriage and empowering them to shape brighter futures.
Thank you for making this transformation possible.
