At Fundación CIMA, we continue to strengthen our efforts to support breast cancer patients through strategic collaborations that allow us to expand our reach and impact. One of the programs that best reflects this commitment is En Route to Life (Camino a la Vida), which plays a key role in addressing access barriers to timely care in Mexico.
During the first months of 2026, the program has continued operating transfers from the state of Hidalgo—primarily from Pachuca—to Mexico City, ensuring that patients can attend their medical appointments and treatments. These transfers are essential for women who would otherwise face significant challenges in accessing specialized oncology services.
From January to April 2026, a total of 48 patient transfers were carried out, supporting both women undergoing active treatment and those requiring follow-up studies such as mammograms, ultrasounds, or biopsies. Each transfer represents not only access to medical care, but also continuity in treatment and improved opportunities for timely diagnosis.
We are sincerely grateful for your continued support, which makes this work possible. Your generosity directly impacts the lives of many women and their families, helping them navigate their journey with greater certainty and dignity.
Thank you for being part of this effort.
Warm regards,
Alejandra de CIMA
Founder & President
