En Route to Life is an on-going program started by Fundación CIMA in March 2020 after having identified that many breast cancer patients in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico, were not attending their appointments to continue with their cancer treatment, thus compromising the results and success of the treatment. After analyzing why this was happening, we realized that the journey from the state of Hidalgo to Mexico City represented, for many women, a major challenge because they did not have the means of transportation, money or time to do it. For this reason, Fuhndación CIMA made available to the state health services, vehicles that offer free, comfortable and safe transportation to patients.
We are very proud to count 3,795 people who have benefited from CIMA's service to the community, which has only been possible thanks to the generosity of all of you, GlobalGiving users.
